FULL FORM GUIDE SEASON 2011 — MINIMUM SIX STARTS

Chris BARWICK 0622109000000: The bandaged combatant beat the injuries that plagued him in 2010, ran consistent times all year and licked his mates in the Logan. Pssst!! His not so secret remedy is horse liniment!

Phoebe BRADY 0054031: TheWeet Bix Kid got off to an indifferent start but found her feet on the flatter tracks and did the “teen team” proud when she became last of the eight young guns to win.

Rhonda CLARK 67940000675098: Was quicker at the start of the season than at the end, which is not her usual form. Maybe it had something to do with the failure of the grape crop, but we can expect richer pickings in 2012.

Ashley COWEN 43110883: It was great to see more of this gifted rocket in 2011. Had he attempted 10km he’d have made a clean sweep of fastest time over all distances. Ash The Dash is the club’s class act.

Simon GALLAGHER 610000790805100000: Paid the price for two stunning wins when the handicapper got his measure, but it was a stellar year for the galloping gazelle. Can he make it five from seven One Tree Hills in 2012?

Peter GIBSON7465775342224322210: Enjoyed a sensationalyear and but for winning the next to last would have gone all the way without ever finishing out of the Top 10. His goal next year: five Aggregate wins from the past six!

Ruby KLEMM 170000000789048561: Vowed to do more training this year and it has paid off. It is always hard to win “first-up” and hold that form all season, but Ruby sparkled to the last, like the gem she’s named after.

Jeremy HARGREAVES 8687751: Was one of eight of the mighty “teen team” to record a win and he did it in gutsy style after a ding-dong battle with Gibbo all the way. This affable young gun can only benefit from his rookie year.

Corey HEARD 641000000: Not quite the class of Cowen or Gallagher just yet, but his technique is flawless, and he has the Marcus Cooper polish on him. This talented teen-teamer is tipped to improve more than most in 2012.

Ashley JEANS 821088260006000: Under the wing of his mentor Chris Barwick, the young fella has made astounding improvement from last year. He’s stopped looking behind, but now needs to focus on what’s ahead.

Charlie JONES 222724321076900000: The tattooed terrier hand-balled the bridesmaid tag to Gibbo at the half-way mark, and pulled up lame at the end. His classiest form was as club handicapper! It was pure genius.

Keith LOFTHOUSE 0000000000653: Lost about 250km of track-work due to injury and his season was over before it began. Lofty “Long in the Tooth” creaked and groaned for most of the year, before a glimmer of hope at the end.

Brad MAKOVEC 90908094372: Our only dual winner in 2010 endured a slow start to the season due to injury, but made rapid improvement to be in serious contention at the end. Brad’s the early favourite for Rhymney 2012.

Nathan MAKOVEC 04433100000400000: Our youngest runner only fired up for sealed races after he copped a “hit” from the handicapper early in the season. Form remains erratic but shin soreness caused some of that.

Anthony MELLORS 0000007044: Usually finds his best late in the season but injury took its toll early on and only got warm for the last couple. His foot is on the till for next year… and we won’t have to wait long for the “ka-ching.”

Tayla NOTTING 33556584251000: Ourbest-performed female enjoyed a consistent year with nine Top 10s before her breakthrough win. Dad Craig pushed her along in that, so imagine the motivation if he joins us next year.

Sven O’FLYNN 00533004: You never can tell the mood he’s in. Despite the two shockers mixed in, Sven’s four top five finishes in seven races is as consistent as he’s ever been and he’ll win next time he puts his mind to shine.

T – SHIRT BOTTOM LINE: “I OVER TRAIN: IT HELPS ME TO OVER EAT.”

FULL FORM GUIDE SEASON 2011 (Cont:)

Gaynor RADOVIC 810800000000000: Couldn’t recover form after her Ryan win and by the time 2011 was done she was a minute down on her best. Isn’t suited by racing back in the pack. An early lift in 2012 will give her a sniff.

Gary SAUNDERS 9000059100836: The Bearded Warrior copped his whack after winning the Motor Inn, but after a freshen-up in Darwin hit back in the Hall with a close third. Gary is indefatigable…once the fat has shifted.

Jack TROUNSON 080995: Jack went missing for most of the year…and boy, did we miss him! After 550 club runs, a race without Jack is like a shoe without laces. His flat 23 minutes in the season finale shows he’s lost nothing!

Adrian van RAAPHORST 5500644351000900: Rarely does the term “old reliable” deserve more respect. The Man Van is relentless. He ran the “Triple 5km” at the end of this year up to 40 secs faster than he did in 2010. Wow!

Neil WILDE000090070067069727: Fought a losing battle against the bulge for most of the year. The Wilde Man openly admits he loves his food, but a fruitless season just might mean a bumper harvest next year.
